The National Coalition of 100 Black Women, Inc. (NCBW) is a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization whose mission is to advocate on behalf of black women and girls to promote leadership development and gender equity in the areas of health, education, and economic empowerment.
Advocacy is at the core of everything we do. At NCBW-MAC, advocacy means educating communities, building leadership capacity, and equipping women and girls with the tools to understand systems, speak up, and participate meaningfully in shaping change.
Rather than working in isolation, our programs serve as pathways for advocacy—connecting education, wellness, economic stability, and civic participation in ways that are practical, accessible, and impactful.

Our work is guided by shared principles that shape how we lead and serve:
Advocacy with Purpose – Addressing systems and structures that impact women and girls
Leadership Development – Preparing the next generation of changemakers
Service to Community – Responding to real needs with compassion and action.
Collaboration – Partnering with schools, organizations, and community leaders
Equity & Access – Creating pathways to opportunity for all

For more than 35 years, NCBW-MAC has been a trusted presence in Metropolitan Atlanta—advocating for women and girls while building programs that respond to evolving community needs.
Through mentoring initiatives, health education, economic empowerment programs, and signature events, our chapter has impacted hundreds of women and girls and engaged thousands of community members. This legacy is sustained by dedicated volunteers, strong partnerships, and a commitment to advocacy that creates lasting change.
