Welcome to NCBW Metropolitan Atlanta Chapter

Founded in 1988, the Metropolitan Atlanta Chapter of the National Coalition of 100 Black Women is an advocacy organization committed to the empowerment of African-American women. The chapter provides leadership in seeking solutions to issues of concern to the community, and offers programs and services to enhance the self-sufficiency of African-American women.

The Chapter has over 100 members who represent the corporate, business, civic, political and education communities. In keeping with our organizational mission, each member actively serves on at least one program committee dedicated to 1) fostering principles of equal rights and opportunities; 2) increasing awareness of African-American culture; 3) developing member potential for more effective leadership; 4) taking action on specific issues of local and national importance; and 5) building alliances with other organizations who have mutual objectives.
